Yes I love the woods but I am also a loner who likes to go at my own pace, be it fast, slow, or full stop. That means alone with Ruby and Rusty most of the time. These days that is difficult as most of the trails are packed with people getting out. Now this is wonderful and hopefully more will discover a love of nature, but it can also be hard on her. More foot traffic. More, unfortunately trash. In an effort to promote intelligent appreciation for the woods I love, I post the following:
