Great for horses, bicycles, strollers, though I have been told a bit bumpy, kids in strollers like it though. Snow mobiles, cross country skiing, and snow shoeing, weather permitting. Please no motorized vehicles.

Check out my prior posts regarding the Pratt Pond area. Simply search Pratt on this blog. This post will cover from the Greenville line to Adams Hill Rd intersection .

Your walk from the Pratt Pond parking lot to Adams Hill Rd is about 5.5 miles and will take, if you saunter, approximately 2.5 hours.

2025, we are suffering from a nasty drought. There are a lot of potential water features I hope to see next year.

It always impresses and amazes me when a rail trail rolls high above the land below. How on earth did they move all that dirt in the 1800s???

This is a snowmobile corridor and there are signs to guide you wherever you wish to wander

Near where you can look down on Rte 31 is a hillside full of Mountain Laurel. This should be stunning in the spring

And the rocks! How on earth did they cut through here. You could see piles of broken rocks below. They did not seem to have blast marks.

I noticed a bathroom of sorts, but saw no nest, nor owl pellet.

Someone parked here

And now, my photo bomb:

Interesting property corner
Great eratic

Sadly, this tree has given up.

Branches on the ground.

And so, back into Mason and head to my truck.

Please share my blog with anyone who loves the woods as much as I.
